So many people ask me, what flavour pretzels I make, and my answer is always the same: There is only one flavour! And that is PRETZEL flavour!
Traditionally they are sprinkled with salt. But there are some other options that you can get in a German bakery. Bacon and cheese or seeds are common too.
If you have had a “pretzel” dipped in a sugary glaze that was pink or something else ridiculous than you didn’t have a real pretzel and someone was lying to you.
